What’s been happening up North?
Northern Group met Monday, 15th September. It was a bright sunny day in Launceston. We finalised arrangements for our trip to the Out of Hand Exhibition: it looks like 3 of our members will be at the Opening and others will be making the journey South to visit during the week. At least four of our ten members have submitted entries. There was a lot for Show and Tell this month – we are really a diverse group of Stitchers, and every meeting it seems we have materials, techniques, books, travels, and exhibitions to share. Our focus at the moment is getting Textile Art “out there,” and we are looking for exhibition opportunities.
