Monthly Gatherings North and South

Our next monthly gathering is Monday 8 December 2025
- Collect your piece from the 2024 Challenge “Bottom of My Garden”
- Bring something to work on while enjoying each other’s company.
- Stay for an hour or stay for the duration!
- Show and share your completed projects or works-in-progress.
- We also love to find out about books you’ve discovered, workshops or online challenges you’ve taken part in, exhibitions you’ve seen….anything textile, fibre or paper-arts related!
- Those interested in joining our group are welcome.
Where to find us
South:
- Kingston Library B Block
Please note there is limited parking onsite in the tarred areas near Blocks A & B – additional 4 hour parking can be found in Channel Court (both levels, library end)
How to Find B Block @ Kingston - 9:00am -1:00pm (show and tell will happen at 10:30am)
- $5 donation covers amenities
- BYO mug (tea/coffee provided)
North:
- Riverside (please email the Launceston Group for location address)
- 10:00am – 3:30pm
- $5 donation covers studio amenities, tea, coffee & snacks
- BYO lunch
Note: At the moment, the Northern Group is FULL – no more room in the shed! We are aware of potential members so if you feel you could start up another group, please have a chat to Chris Hussey. It’s easy and we can help.

Help keep our members safe
It is your own choice whether you attend our events, but you need to abide by certain clearly stated protocols. If you attend displaying any mild symptoms, we will (ever so nicely) ask you to leave:
- do not attend if you have even the mildest of cold-like symptoms
- sanitise your hands
- socially distance during the event
- if you are immunocompromised, we recommend wearing a mask.
