As ever, our June gatherings were a hub of activity, information and works in progress. For members in the south, the June gathering was the first in a six-month trial of extended meeting time from 9am to 1pm, with show and tell at 10.30 am. An excellent day was enjoyed with time to chat, explore, discuss, problem-solve and generally socialise. Southern members are looking forward to the next one.
In the north, almost a “full house” of members gathered to share, show and tell. Lynne led the group on a further discussion of Art Journaling, a task she is helping us to develop. The subject of “themes” was explored. This was most valuable for our art practices and one of our resolutions for the coming textile year.
