Out of Hand 2025- Awards and Thank You

Congratulations to everyone who had work in the Out of Hand 2025 exhibition. It was a huge success and, we received so many positive comments about the standard of the exhibition and the quality and diversity of the work. So well done everyone.

We had close to 1900 people come and view the exhibition. Many coming several times. Many thanks to our curators who did such an amazing job installing over 250 pieces into the Long Gallery.

Thank you to all the people who contributed to the success of the exhibition: all the volunteers who helped set up, the sitters, those that helped with packup, Nicole O’Loughlin for opening the exhibition, Amber Koroluk-Stephenson and Lucy Edgington our wonderful curators, Adrian Byran for his guitar playing at the Opening, Bronilyn Smith for photography, all the raffle prize donors and everyone who bought a raffle ticket, Rita Summers for sponsoring one of the People’s Choice awards and everyone who attended and bought friends and family along to the exhibition, as well as the hardworking OoH committee. A very special thank you to Wild Stitch Studios and HEGYS (Hobart Embroiderers Guild Young Stitchers) who also participated in the exhibition.
