Congratulations to everyone who had work in the Out of Hand 2023 exhibition. It was a huge success and we received so many positive comments about the standard of the exhibition and the quality and diversity of the work. So well done everyone.
We had over 1800 come and view the exhibition. Many visited several times. Warmest thanks to our curators who did such a wonderful job installing 196 pieces into the Long Gallery. They really worked magic.
Our hearty congratulations to all of our prize winners.
The Curators’ Prize went to Glen Murray and his quilt “Portrait #6”. Congratulations Glen.
We had 1485 votes for the People’s Choice award and we have awarded prizes to the top 6. This year the People’s Choice awards go to….
Trees in the Moonlight by Barb Walsh
The Dance by Georgia Mars
Tree of Life by Nicola Oliver
Wild Fires by Karen Stack
Kunanyi Potourri by Annie Wilson
Unfurled by June Hope
Congratulations to these winners.
