Gloria is a world renowned quilter who has a special gift for colour and design. We were privileged to have her run a 2 day workshop after the judging of the 2015 Tasmanian Art Quilt Prize. Taking an image of a tree that inspired her, each student proceeded to create a wonderful background, paint and attach a tree, and then quilt the resulting art work. Every piece was so different; after all, isn’t every tree in a forest individual?
