Cordula is a gifted mixed media artist who loves sharing her skills and insights into this medium. This three day workshop allowed us to explore the possibilities and advantages of collage techniques. Explore the different textures and surfaces by using a variety of papers, cardboards and fabrics in our work together with acrylic paint. We were able to utilise experimental or accidental results and build individual combination of techniques and materials with one another to release even more design possibilities. We also had the chance to experiment with juxtaposing different materials, pattern and images in compositions to create tension. New and unusual pictorial contexts occurred when combining an abstract or patterned space with a concrete image.
