What a fabulous day: 19 of our southern group spent last Sunday at the KWC rooms. The day was full of ideas, sharing, friendship and laughter. It was quite a privilege to be there to congratulate Chantale whose art has been featured alongside many other Tasmanian makers in the newly published (and creatively bound) book, “Makers” by Ivett Dodd.
Some people brought their current projects to work on while most, under Sally’s guidance, explored the potential of using procion dyes to colour their own cellulose threads. Finally we also dyed some wool and silk with Landscape dyes in Chris’s dodgy microwave. Such fun, all day long!
