We all spent such an enjoyable few hours to escape and indulge in our love of all manner of textiles and thread. We saw colours that were both joyous and subdued, intricate stitching and brave, expansive stitching, crocheted figurines made from twine spun from paper patterns…. so much inspiration. And we talked, and shared Nicola’s experiences going to the Art Textile Biennale to see her piece hung with others from Australia and other countries. And we celebrated her award, one of three given on the night.
