Join us at Kingborough Women’s Club (KWC) to socially stitch and explore textiles in any way you wish at this great facility.
Exploring Textures in Stitch
Regular Sunday ‘textile explorers’ thought they would like to brainstorm textures in stitch. We all see threads so differently. Bring your collections, and let’s see what evolves!
Texture might mean just threads, but it could mean other things we add – what have you added? What do you think you could add but haven’t yet tried?
A sharing time with your own focus…feel free to work on your own projects if you prefer.
What to bring
- Small pieces backing fabric
- Usual sewing needles, threads & scissors
- Textural threads or other items that you would like to experiment with
- No preconceived ideas!
- Your lunch (or cash to purchase lunch nearby), tea and/or coffee and a mug
Any financial Stitching and Beyond member who is also a member of the KWC ($40 per year from July 1) is welcome to join our Sundays at no extra cost. Check here for details on how to join the KWC.
