Let’s Explore – Tasmanian Flora
May 4 2025 @ 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Each year Stitching and Beyond members fill the Lightbox (the wee gallery downstairs from the Long Gallery, Salamanca) with small stitched creations, usually no bigger than about 10 to 15 centimetres.
This year the theme is Tasmanian Flora – be inspired by its shapes, colours, patterns; any aspect that you enjoy in flowers, reeds, seeds and bark to name just some. Already we have seen some lovely ideas. They don’t have to be complicated or exactly true to life – keep the word “expressive” in your minds!
Feel free to enjoy the company of others while we all work on our flora pieces.
