Let’s Explore – Denimology

Join us at Kingborough Women’s Club (KWC) to socially stitch and explore textiles at this great facility.

Let’s explore how we can reform leftover bits of denim, worn out or other scraps of denim.
Think about hems, pockets, frayed bits….

Feel free to work on your own projects if you prefer.

What to bring

• Bits of denim – worn out, cutoffs – in any colour version you like
• Usual sewing needles, threads & scissors
• Coloured threads or other threads you would like to experiment with
• No preconceived ideas!
• Your lunch (or cash to purchase lunch nearby), tea and/or coffee and a mug

• You are welcome to bring a sewing machine if you choose, but please include an extension cord

Any financial Stitching and Beyond member who is also a member of the KWC ($40 per year from July 1) is welcome to join our Sundays at no extra cost. Check here for details on how to join the KWC.
