Do you have more fabrics, threads, books, beads or other textile-related materials than you need? Or would you like to acquire dyed and experimental samples by a well-known textile artist?
If so, the perfect opportunity is coming up on Sunday 12th July. Our Stitching and Beyond de-stash market will run from 10 am to 3 pm at the Kingborough Women’s Club, Kingston Beach. Sixteen tables are available for Stitching and Beyond members to sell their items, at a cost of $5 per table, and two tables will be dedicated to selling samples from the estate of the late Ken Smith. Two beautiful partially finished quilts by Ken Smith will be on offer through ‘silent auction’ bids made at the market. Please note that the market is open to the general public, but only members can be sellers.
Full details of how to participate and a flyer advertising the market will be sent to all financial members in an email around the end of May. Please forward your interest in having a table to [email protected] by 16th June.
