QuiltNSW recognises the quilt medium as an art form and is committed to providing opportunities for textile artists to share their artwork in a gallery setting. The New Quilt is a juried survey exhibition showcasing art quilts that is open to anyone residing in Australia and New Zealand.
For the purpose of this exhibition, a quilt means stitched and layered materials using any technique and the quilt must be an original, non-traditional design.
