DESCRIPTION:These workshops have been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Ticketed participants have been contacted separately for a full refund. \nTextiles for Deborah Campbell have always been an important element of her artistic expression. She takes inspiration from Scotland’s coastal landscape and the bird life that inhabits that environment. Deborah trained in Printed Textiles at Glasgow School of Art and has a wide knowledge and experience of printing on fabric. \nwww.deborahcampbell.com \n\nPrint to Stitch\nIn this workshop\, Deborah will introduce you to exciting ways of creating your own unique fabrics using Collagraph and Intaglio printing processes. \nYou will create printing plates using recycled materials and Drypoint plates which you will ink up and put through a press. You will learn how to mix up textures through collaging before adding embellishment using free motion machine and hand embroidery to create a beautiful textile artwork. \nSuitable for all levels. \n\nInspiration from Deborah\n\nPlease note:\n\n A full list of requirements will be emailed to participants prior to the workshop\n\n\n Workshop bookings are subject to our refund policy\n\nFinding Kickstart Arts (the old school room) on St John’s Avenue \n\nIf you are not currently a financial member of Stitching and Beyond\, you can join us\, pay the membership fee and then login to purchase your ticket.
