Hina Doll Display @ Wafu Works

Hina Matsuri Dolls

You are invited to a display of Jan Ochi’s daughter Ayame’s  Hina Matsuri  dolls.

Jan writes: Hina Matsuri  or Girls’ Day Festival is actually held on  3rd March  so we’re running a bit late but this is the best date we could manage. Ayame was very fortunate to be given this full set of  dolls  for her first  Hina Matsuri in 1996.  It’s very big so the only space it will fit  is in the shop. It’s nine  years since we last had them out so we’re  very excited to see them again.   I’ll also be displaying some other dolls and girls’ kimonos from my collection.  I hope you can come along and have a cup of tea and enjoy a slightly belated Hina Matsuri..

Sunday  15th  and Monday 16th March
10am  –  2pm

In other news… yes, a workshop programme will be coming very  soon –  and I’m  finally working on a new website. Stay tuned!
Many thanks as always for supporting Wafu Works
